   I love this filter ! ! ! As promised it has amazing color rendition without having to swap channels in post. It’s also possible to use the view finder instead of having to use live view which can be a challenge on a sunny day.

   Just received my copy of the IR Chrome Lens Filter, and it performed as expected. No layer swaping, high-quality filter with no distortion. Looking forward to the summer, to really try it out in nature. Also, excellent service from Kolari with good communication.    It was a bit long to get mine, but I knew it before buying since Kolari tells everything about production on product page, and gives regular updates. And I must tell I had good interactions with Kolari service when asking for delays: nice and straight answers from William, thumbs up 🙂
   I just played a bit with this filter, sadly it came after all my photographic opportunities for this summer, I should have ordered it earlier, my fault. But after a week playing with it, I can say it gave me good results. I am stunned with colors I got OOC, even if it was not the strong red like in sample shots, more on the orange side. I suspect it comes from a combination of my custom WB and lights I got when shooting (mostly overcast), I just had to play with HSL sliders to correct that.
   This filter broadens the uses of a full-spectrum converted camera. Nice 🙂

   I’ve ordered a few filters from Kolari Vision and every time the customer service and after sales have been exemplary. The response to any queries I’ve had has been instant despite the time difference of being in the UK and incredibly informative and polite, especially from Pat Nadolski, who went above and beyond to straight swap a filter for me despite the difference in price.

   I can only imagine that this high standard also applies to more involved aspects of their company, so if you are thinking of using their conversion service I would highly recommend it.

   I also love how supportive of freelance photographers they are on social media; I have discovered so many different infrared photographers’ amazing work through Instagram and that I wouldn’t have found otherwise. This shows they are not just concerned with profit margins and are run by people who are actually passionate about infrared and ultraviolet photography.

   I will definitely be ordering more from them in the future!

   It took some time for me to get mine, during the quarantine and all that fuss with delivery service, but I can definitely say it was well worth the wait. I simply love the results of this filter. It’s pretty much the one that lives on my full spectrum camera and the images I get are amazing. Highly recommended. Kolari Vision did a magnificent job not only with the filter but with the customer experience altogether.

   Hi. Order this filter on Sunday 24th jan. it’s now 1100am Thursday morning and I live in Dublin Ireland,and FedEx just delivered the filter. Had a quick try out and wow!!! I am impressed

   Outside of simple cropping or things like that I’ve never really enjoyed post all that much. This filter is fantastic in that it makes for some beautiful shots, and doesn’t require any channel swapping or much of anything after the fact. Quality wise it seems well made and fairly sturdy, or at least seems sturdier than other filters I have at that size, at the end of the day it’s still a piece of glass after all. I see mine getting a lot of use especially now even more with summer coming.

    The filter works great with my full spectrum converted EOS RP. The resulting images are incredible, there is no need to make a lot of intricate post-process. Only need to adjust the white balance depending on the light. Good work.

    Hello Kolari Vision,

    I would like to thank you for the super fast delivery of the IR Chrome filter.

    The filter is absolutely top. It is used on my Fuji XF 10-24mm zoom on a Fuji X-T2 Full Spectrum. There are no hot spot or color fringing. The photos are stunning. It is my fourth IR Chrome filter, but the first for a super wide angle lens.

    I love this filter, easy to capture with auto white balance you can get wonderful results even in an image that is usually flat.
    Same effect of the old film!

    I continue to be impressed by the capabilities of this filter when used on a full spectrum camera. It’s pretty much effortless to get the look you’re after. Be aware that it will reveal any deficiency in the lens (color fringing, for example), so it is best utilized with well corrected lenses. Build quality is excellent and the coatings are very durable.
