*Please note: We recommend our Standard 52mm IR filters with the optional aluminum cage. Unfortunately our Gen3 filters will not be compatible with with cage designs.

Due to the design of this camera, we need to carefully cut through the casing during the conversion process to reach and modify the sensor. After the conversion, we reseal the camera using a flexible black epoxy. While this ensures the camera remains resistant to rain and splashes, it will no longer be rated for underwater use unless paired with dedicated underwater housing. This modification will not interfere with using any dedicated GoPro housing equipment.
